Companies want to onboard their new employees online but sometimes struggle with how to structure the learning in a motivating, inspiring, and informative way.

Our Solution
This sample course explores how a company could provide a customized onboarding eLearning course to their employees. First, the brand is prevalent throughout the course and the course is clean and modern with the images of the product shown along with the natural ground texture you would see behind their images.
Next, the structure follows the need to welcome someone to the company, welcome someone to the respective team they will work on like retail, introduce the culture and mission of the company, instill the company’s value of diversity and inclusion, ensure there is compliance to key policies, and awareness of safety procedures as well as receive all of the tools they need to start doing their job. The Welcome to the Company section is highlighted because we envision this setting the tone that this new employee is important to the company and its mission. This is why there is a word from the CEO. There could also be a message from all of the executives especially the director of the department they are working in. This course states the Retail team but with the integration of a learning management system, the course could be customized based on the employee profile and this section could be other departments in the organization.
Now, the Get Started in Your Role section is highly customizable and will provide an in-depth explanation of their role, its importance, and a video of a team member going through the day in the life of this role. The toolkit could consist of a page that would allow them to download every software application that would need to function in their role. The goals and growth plan allows the employee to start their career off reflecting on the goals of the company, the departmental goals, and their goals, and the specific actions needed to obtain them. After working hard on their goals, the new employee will be motivated to know their hard work will be rewarded and the benefits and bonuses page will allow them to explore the many benefits, discounts, and the bonus structure they could take advantage of at the company.
Lastly, the employee resource groups allow the new employee to connect with other people on their team or interest groups and quickly build a community of support.
